Driven by a planning committee of older adolescents and adults with Duchenne, we’ll focus on topics that YOU have told us are important to you. This gathering will be a place to learn, to connect with each other and to have some fun while we focus on how to move into and live in adulthood with Duchenne.

“What Now?” is the event name and it’s the guiding question. When you’re heading toward and through adulthood with Duchenne, how do you give direction to your own life?

How do you look to the future? Beyond high school and well into adulthood? How do you have autonomy, dreams, and purpose? What about a career? A job? Friendship? Romantic relationships? How about mental health and anxiety? What about travel and finances?

We’ll talk about it all!

What about family, friends and community members? We love them, too! And we know how important they are to navigating life with Duchenne. We’re going to celebrate that. At the end of the conference, we’re going to open the (virtual) doors and everyone is welcome! See below to register.
